After 3 great months of A Woman’s Whimsy being open, the feedback has been fabulous! Thanks to many of you who stopped by, brought friends, spread the word and came back!
I’ve had the good fortune to meet many great admirers of art and great artisans! For the past 3 months, I had the opportunity to expand my space into an additional room. I decided to bite the bullet and do it! I can’t turn down great work and can’t let it sit in my home…it needs a stage.
This month through September, I am featuring the work of Mary K – a talented fiber artist from Michigan who has taken quilting to a whole new level. Much of Mary’s work contains organic materials like copper, feathers, rocks, and arrowheads. We have many of Mary’s shadowboxes containing small dolls made of exquisite beads, feathers and a few surprises.
